Coronavirus Cases Exceed 300,000 In South Carolina

(Columbia, SC) -- South Carolina now has over 300,000 confirmed cases of COVID-19. 

The Department of Health and Environmental Control announced 2,285 new cases yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 302,003since the pandemic began.

DHEC also reported 12 more deaths, for a state total of 5,068. Of the over 7,400 most recent test results, 30-point-seven-percent were reported positive.
