(Columbia, SC) -- The Department of Health and Environmental Control announced 1,554 new cases yesterday, bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 400,472 since the pandemic began.
An additional 32 confirmed COVID deaths were also reported yesterday, putting the state's death toll at 6,599.
DHEC says the percent positive from the over 25,000 tests most recently reported to them was 8.8 percent.
