(Columbia, SC) -- The Department of Health and Environmental Control announced 740 new cases yesterday.
That brings the total number of confirmed cases to 444, 991 since the pandemic began.
There were 14 more COVID deaths reported yesterday, making the state's death toll 7,592.
Of the newly-reported deaths, one happened in January, but DHEC says most happened in the past week.
