State Forestry Burning Debris At A Dozen State Parks

(Columbia, SC) -- Prescribed burns are underway across South Carolina.

The State Forestry Commission is setting fires at a dozen state parks. The goal is to get rid of forest debris that could lead to out-of-control wildfires in the future.

Officials will work to keep these fires under control and try to stop smoke from reaching populated areas.
