(Columbia, SC) -- A public burial is remembering dozens of community members in Richland County.
A ceremony was held yesterday at the Richland County Cemetery for 23 people who were unclaimed, had no living family members, or were not able to be buried by traditional means.
The Richland County Coroner's Office organized the ceremony, saying they want to show their lives mattered, even in death.
