(Columbia, SC) -- Community leaders in Columbia are reacting to the guilty verdict in the Derek Chauvin murder trial.
The former Minneapolis police officer was convicted on all three counts in the death of George Floyd.
Police Chief Skip Holbrook says "justice has been served," adding that the case was about a bad officer and not a bad profession.
Mayor Steve Benjamin says he cried when the verdict was read, and that he couldn't tell if they were "tears of joy, sorrow or pain."
