(Sumter, SC) -- A school resource officer is being reviewed for using a taser. It happened during school dismissal at a middle school on Tuesday.
Sumter Police say the SRO activated the taser into the air to make a sound to get the students' attention.
It did not come into contact with anyone, and no injuries were reported.
