(Columbia, SC) -- Governor McMaster is again calling on South Carolina cities and counties to drop their mask mandates.
McMaster told reporters Wednesday that its "ridiculous" that kids are still required to wear masks in classrooms. He says restrictions are no longer needed due to lower COVID-19 case numbers and increased vaccine availability.
There has never been a statewide mask mandate in South Carolina as Governor McMaster has said he doesn't believe they're constitutional.
