(Columbia, SC) -- State lawmakers are advancing a bill to change the method of execution.
The measure would make the default method the electric chair instead of lethal injection.
It also includes an option for execution by firing squad.
The bill has one more procedural vote before heading to Governor McMaster's desk, where he has said he will sign it.
