(Columbia, SC) -- University of South Carolina President Bob Caslen is apologizing for an error made in his commencement speech.
Caslen repeated advice from a speech to University of Texas graduates in 2014.
President Caslen says he failed to cite Admiral William McCraven as the original author of the words.
Caslen also congratulated graduates of the University of California instead of saying South Carolina.
