South Carolina Cancels Face Mask Policy For Schools

(Columbia, SC) -- South Carolina is canceling its face mask policy for schools.

The announcement came from Superintendent of Education Molly Spearman yesterday and is effective for students on school campuses immediately.

Children are still required to wear masks on school buses as part of a federal requirement.

The decision comes after Governor McMaster issued an Executive Order on Tuesday to allow parents to opt out of having their children wear masks at school.
