Legislative Session Ends Without Passing Hate Crimes Bill

(Columbia, SC) -- South Carolina's legislative session comes to a close without passing a hate crimes bill.

The Palmetto state is now just one of two without that type of law on the books.

Business leaders are already calling for a hate crimes bill to be passed in 2022.

One was passed in the House in April, but the Senate never voted on it.
