Corrections Officer Arrested, Fired For Smuggling Meth Into Facility

(Ridgeland, SC) -- A South Carolina Department of Corrections officer is accused of taking lollipops laced with meth into Ridgeland Correctional Institution. 

Thirty-nine-year-old Dana Fisher is charged with distribution of methamphetamines and providing contraband to an inmate and misconduct in office. 

Officials say she brought Blow Pop suckers in that field-tested positive for meth. She has been fired.
