(Irmo, SC) -- A Lexington Richland School District 5 Board of Trustees member is being censured.
The board voted four to two on Monday to censure Ed White. This follows his resignation earlier this month in response to Superintendent Dr. Christina Melton resigning.
White will remain on the board until July 14th.
The board chair says the censure was because White made false allegations and caused harm to the district.
