Man Sentenced For Threatening Former Federal Prosecutor

(Columbia, SC) -- A man convicted of threatening a former federal prosecutor has been sentenced. 

Forty-seven-year-old James Giannakos pleaded guilty to making interstate threats in April. 

The Gilbert man had threatened the former prosecutor after she said the leader of the Proud Boys gave the FBI information to help them make arrests. 

Giannakos will spend 28 months in prison.
