(Columbia, SC) -- Governor McMaster is not planning any new policy as COVID-19 cases rise.
The governor's communication director tells WIS-TV that a statewide mask mandate was not issued at the height of the pandemic, and one will not be issued now.
He calls mask mandates "entirely unenforceable."
This comes as average daily COVID-19 cases increased from around 200 to 300 in May to over 12-hundred with the virus on Friday.
