School Districts Experiencing School Bus Driver Shortages

(Undated) -- Several school districts in South Carolina are dealing with a bus driver shortage.

Greenville County Schools reports they are short over 100 drivers and are asking parents of bus riders to drive their kids to school or set up carpools.

Lexington School District One reports it is down 50-percent of its bus drivers.

They have over 30 job openings for school bus drivers and have some drivers that are already on staff out due to COVID-19 exposure in their families.
