South Carolina Tops Nation In New COVID-19 Cases

(Columbia, SC) -- A new report say that South Carolina leads the nation in the rate of COVID-19 cases. 

A New York Times report says that the state has the highest rate of new cases per 100-thousand people, ahead of Alabama and Tennessee. 

Health officials say since August 21st, the age group with the highest number of cases in the state is the eleven to 20 group. 

The second highest age group are those zero to ten years old.
