(Lexington County, SC) -- Seventeen men are in custody in Lexington County on accusations that they contacted children online for sexual activity.
The arrests came after a month-long operation using officers that pretended to be underage teenagers on messaging apps.
Police say they arrested a suspect when they made plans to meet with the child they believed they were speaking to.
More people are expected to be charged as part of the operation.
