(Myrtle Beach, SC) -- Tourism in Myrtle Beach is hitting record numbers.
The Myrtle Beach Area Chamber of Commerce reports a 77-percent occupancy rate for the 2021 Labor Day weekend. That's 20-percent higher than 2020 and 34-percent higher than 2019.
Data from the Chamber says July had an occupancy rate of 92-percent, making it the busiest month of the year for tourism across the Grand Strand.
