(Columbia, SC) -- Alex Murdaugh will surrender to authorities in Hampton County today.
This comes a day after a man was arrested for assisted suicide for allegedly trying to help Murdaugh end his life in a way that still allowed his son to cash in on a 10-million-dollar life insurance policy.
Now, SLED says it is reopening the criminal investigation into the 2018 death of a housekeeper and nanny for the Murdaugh family.
Fifty-three-year-old Alex Murdaugh has yet to be charged with a crime.
