(Columbia, SC) -- The South Carolina Department for Health and Environmental Control is reporting thousands of newly confirmed COVID-19 cases.
On Monday, DHEC announced 2,862 total cases. That compares to 3,919 reported Sunday and 3,754 reported Saturday.
This includes confirmed and probable cases, which are differentiated by the type of test a person takes.
