Columbia Extends Face Mask Ordinance

(Columbia, SC) -- The City of Columbia is extending its mask ordinance.

It was first put in place on September 8th, requiring everyone to wear masks in public places like restaurants, stores, and salons.

The Columbia City Council decided unanimously that the ordinance will now stay in effect for another 61 days.

Those five and younger are exempt from the mandate.
