Moore Takes Lead In Lexington-Richland Five School Board Special Election

(Richland County, SC) -- Tifani Moore is taking the lead in the Lexington-Richland Five school board special election.

Twenty-three of the 25 precincts in Richland County have reported Moore as the leader over Haley Griggs and Jeff Herring.

The three were vying to fill longtime board member Ed White's seat. He stepped down after then-Superintendent Christina Melton resigned.

The election results will be certified Friday at noon.
