Former Lexington Teacher's License Suspended Over Cannabis Edibles

(Lexington, SC) -- The South Carolina State Board of Education is suspending the license of a former Lexington teacher.

Twenty-seven-year-old Victoria Weiss is accused of having cannabis-infused edibles in her student prize box.

Two Rocky Creek Elementary students reportedly selected the gummies from the prize box on September 23rd, but did not eat them.

Weiss is no longer employed by Lexington School District One, is facing a criminal charge, and could have her license revoked completely.
