(Columbia, SC) -- The Columbia City Council could approve a revitalization project for Finlay Park.
At their meeting tonight, the Council will vote on a $1.5M contract for work at the 18-acre park.
If approved, Finlay Park will get a new events stage, restrooms, shelter, an improved walking path, a recreated pond, an updated playground, and a renovation of the spiral fountain.
The renovations would break ground by early 2023 and be finished in 2024.
