(Orangeburg County, SC) -- Virtual learning begins today for two Orangeburg County Schools.
All of Edisto Primary and Carver Edisto Middle School students will be learning remotely, while teachers and staff will be working in-person.
Students are expected to return to in-person learning on January 18th.
School officials point to an increase in teacher and nurse absences as the reason for the change.
