(Bishopville, SC) - Twenty people are in custody after an eight-month investigation into drone attacks at a Bishopville prison.
The drone assaults were happening at night at Lee Correctional Institution, attempting to fly drones with contraband over prison fences.
An investigation into the attacks has led to over 100-pounds of contraband being confiscated.
That includes tobacco, marijuana, meth, crack cocaine, cell phones, knives, guns and cash.
