Students Returning To Irmo High School With Changes In Place

(Irmo, SC) - Irmo High School students are returning to class today after two days of virtual learning.

This follows over 100 students walking out of the school last Friday over recent fights and concerns of sexual harassment and assault.

There will be a number of changes in place, including new cameras being installed around campus and an increased police presence over the next few days.

The school is also requiring students to have a hall pass to go to the bathroom as most fights have started outside of classrooms. Additionally, hoods and hats will be prohibited from being worn inside.
