Local College Evacuated After Bomb Threat Called In

(Orangeburg, SC) -- Claflin University is all clear after a bomb threat was called into the local college Wednesday.

Students and staff were evacuated from all academic and administrative buildings some time in the morning.

Those who live on campus were instructed to return to their dorms immediately, while commuters were sent home.

An email stating the campus lockdown had been lifted was sent just after 3 p.m. yesterday as it does not appear the threat was valid.
