(Columbia, SC) -- The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control will soon stop reporting daily COVID-19 data.
The change is happening March 15th due to widespread availability of rapid at-home tests, which the agency has no way to collect data from.
DHEC will also start closing testing sites gradually beginning next month.
This will happen in any county with five or more non-DHEC PCR test providers.
