(Cayce, SC) - The South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control is releasing a report that details violations found at a Cayce assisted living facility.
A 69-year-old man died at Twilite Manor Adult Residential Care last week and the remaining residents were removed. They have now been relocated to longer-term placements.
DHEC found on February 18th, Twilite Manor did not have sufficient staff to provide care and basic services, that medications and breakfast were not administered to residents that morning.
An after-action review of events is still underway.
