Richland County Extends Mask Mandate Through End Of April

(Richland County, SC) - Richland County's mask mandate is being extended.

The County Council voted to keep masking requirements in place, requiring those eleven and older to wear masks inside most public spaces, like restaurants, grocery stores, and other businesses.

The extension lasts through the end of April.

Individuals who violate the ordinance face a 25-dollar fine, and businesses whose employees don't mask up could be fined 100-dollars.
