New Boating Law Signed Into Effect By Gov. McMaster

(Columbia, SC) -- A new boating law has been signed into effect in South Carolina.

The legislation prohibits wake surfing within 200-feet of a dock.

It also requires a 100-foot distance limit boats will need to observe when approaching a dock or anchored vessel.

South Carolina DNR says this increases the previous distance and most major reservoirs in the state.
