(Greenville, SC) -A suspect is in custody after a shooting at a school in Greenville.
Twelve-year-old Jamari Cortez Bonaparte was shot at Tanglewood Middle School on Thursday. He was taken to the hospital and later died.
Police have arrested a 12-year-old for the shooting and recovered a handgun.
The suspect is charged with murder, possession of a weapon during a violent crime, possession of a firearm on school property and unlawful possession of a weapon by a person under age 18.
