(Columbia, SC) -- A driver is dead after being ejected from a vehicle during an accident Thursday.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol says the accident happened about 4:45 a.m. along I-77 north at mile marker 21 in Richland County.
That is where the 2007 Ford Fusion went off the right side of the highway and hit a guardrail.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
