(Columbia, SC) -A timeline is being set for legal challenges to South Carolina's execution methods.
This comes as a stay of execution has been put in place for death row inmate Richard Moore, which will stay in place until a final decision is made on the constitutionality of execution by either electric chair or firing squad.
An administrative order filed Thursday says the judge will complete the trial within 90 days, with a decision issued within 30 days of the trial being complete.
That means a trial in the case must be completed by August 3rd and the judge's decision must come by September 2nd.
