(Spartanburg County, SC)- The National Weather Service is confirming a tornado touched down in Spartanburg County.
It happened during storms Tuesday evening. Officials say a 200-mile-wide tornado touched down at approximately 7:10 p.m. and traveled over five miles in the Boiling Springs area.
It had peak winds of 110 miles per hour.
