(Columbia, SC) - Officers are on administrative duty and juvenile detention center staff are being suspended after a teen managed to bring a concealed loaded gun into the facility.
The 13-year-old had been arrested after allegedly being found with a loaded gun at the Columbia Centre mall.
After being booked into the Juvenile Detention Center, staff was notified the teen may have a second gun.
They were able to recover the weapon without incident. An Internal Affairs investigation is underway.
