(Columbia, SC) -A family is speaking out after a 16-year-old held at a Department of Juvenile Justice center had to be hospitalized.
The family of Divine Johnson says the teen was attacked while in custody at Broad River Correctional Center in Columbia.
Officials say a group disturbance last Thursday sent two people to the hospital.
The National Racial Justice Network is calling on SLED to investigate.
