(Columbia, SC) - The South Carolina Supreme Court is setting a date to determine whether or not Alex Murdaugh will be disbarred.
He was suspended from practicing law in 2021 after allegedly stealing funds from clients and his former law firm.
He's facing a slew of other accusations, and has recently admitted to stealing millions from the sons of his former housekeeper after her death.
The state's highest court is expediting Murdaugh's disciplinary process, citing his quote "egregious ethical misconduct". He will appear before the Court on June 22nd.
