(Colleton County, SC)- Former South Carolina attorney Alex Murdaugh is expected to be charged for the death of his wife and son.
SLED reportedly told family members about impending charges on Tuesday, but told multiple media outlets their investigation is active and ongoing.
Maggie and Paul Murdaugh were found shot to death in a Colleton County home in June of 2021.
Alex Murdaugh has already been charged with dozens of fraud related crimes in connection to the death of his former housekeeper Gloria Satterfield.
On Tuesday, he was disbarred by the Supreme Court of South Carolina.
