Judge Denies Gag Order Request In Alex Murdaugh Murder Trial

A judge is denying a gag order in the Alex Murdaugh murder trial.

Murdaugh's defense attorney requested the gag order, and the prosecution agreed. It would have prevented lawyers on both sides from making comments to the media beyond what is said in court.

The Circuit Court Judge did not feel the gag order was necessary, and said attorneys are already not supposed to make comments that would jeopardize a fair trial.
