(Richland County, SC)- A man wanted for shooting at a Forest Acres police officer is now in custody.
Multiple shots were fired from a vehicle when the Forest Acres officer tried to conduct a traffic stop on July 25th.
A warrant was issued for 19-year-old Ladre Smith for attempted murder and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.
Smith was found in a motel in Alabama on Tuesday and was taken into custody by U.S. Marshals.
