(Columbia, SC) - South Carolina Governor Henry McMaster is expressing his disapproval with President Biden's student debt relief plan.
On Wednesday, Biden announced 10-thousand dollars in federal student loan forgiveness for borrowers who make less than 125-thousand dollars a year.
Pell Grant recipients can get another 10-thousand dollars in debt canceled.
McMaster says President Biden and liberal Democrats are "destroying the fabric of this great nation".
He calls the student debt cancellation an example of "entitlement culture".
