(Colleton County, SC)-- A judge is granting a temporary protective order in connection to Alex Murdaugh's double murder trial.
This comes after a motions hearing in Colleton County Monday. The judge ruled the prosecution needs to start sharing select evidence with the defense.
Murdaugh has pleaded not guilty to killing his wife Maggie and son Paul. His trial is expected to start in January.
