(Colleton County, SC)-- Alex Murdaugh's defense team says they've received evidence for the upcoming murder trial against the former attorney.
He's charged with the murders of his wife and son, who were found shot to death in Colleton County in June of 2021.
Murdaugh's defense team says they will now be able to prepare for the trial after evidence was ordered to be released to them.
The murder trial is expected to begin in January.
