Damage Assessments Continuing After Hurricane Ian

(Columbia, SC) -- Damage assessments will continue this week after Hurricane Ian hit South Carolina.

This was the first hurricane to make landfall in the Palmetto State since 2016.

Governor McMaster says water systems are ok, no hospitals were damaged, and most electricity has been restored since the storm.

The governor also says there were no storm-related deaths in South Carolina.
