(Columbia, SC) - Prisma Health is investing in South Carolina colleges in the hopes of addressing the nursing shortage.
The organization is launching a five-million-dollar pilot nursing recruitment program at Clemson University, the University of South Carolina, the University of South Carolina Upstate, Greenville Technical College, and Midlands Technical College.
Scholarships, mentorships, and increased access to clinical experiences will be included.
The program is already underway at University of South Carolina Upstate, with other colleges launching their programs in January.
