FBI & SLED Investigating Fake Calls About Active School Shooters

(Undated) - The FBI and SLED are investigating after a slew of fake calls were made about active school shooters across South Carolina.

No shootings happened despite calls being made to local law enforcement agencies across the Palmetto state Wednesday.

Governor Henry McMaster responded to the incidents, saying there's "no excuse for that kind of conduct" and calling it a crime.

Reports were made in Greenville, Anderson, Laurens, Oconee, Richland, Charleston, Horry and Beaufort Counties.
